A new week, A new start

Recent work as seen at Shepherd Market Gallery, London - August 2010, and at The Artsbar, Wokingham, Berkshire.
November - December 2010.

My current series of work is inspired by the sprigged fabrics of French Linens. Taking the imagery of flowers and seedheads and translating them into three dimensional forms which are either scattered or stitched between screen printed and etched acrylic. (Perspex)
I love the dimensional and transparent qualities I get
from working with
acrylic, which I cut and manipulate
to get the effect I want. Etching and screen printing onto
the surface allows me to create the illusion of lots of layers.
Exploring the reflective capacity of the crystal clear
acrylic is an interactive aspect
when light is applied and

used to intensify this visual
interpretation.

Ill keep you updated on further work........
